(WAMD INSTANT PAYMENT) TERMS & CONDITIONS
Introduction
These terms and conditions govern your use of WAMD service, provided by Kuwait Finance House. By registering for and using the service, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
Registration
To use the service, you must first log in to KFHOnline mobile App and then access "WAMD" functions.
WAMD Services
The WAMD service consists of a range of functions including Alias Management, Funds Transfer, Request to Pay, and Request for Money Return.
1. Alias Functions: Alias functions include Alias (Mobile number) registration, Alias De-Registration, Alias Suspension, and Alias Porting.
2. Sending Funds: This service allows you to send funds to another customer in another bank, provided the receiver is registered in the service with an Alias, but it is not mandatory for you to be registered with an Alias if you wish to send funds.
3. Receiving Funds, also known as Request, to Pay: You can submit a request for funds from another customer. In this case, both sender and receiver must be registered with Aliases in the WAMD service, where request is valid for 24 hours only.
Request for Money Return
If, for any reason, you wish to request a refund for funds that were already transferred, you may do so through the Request for Money Return function and within a period not exceeding 24 hours from the time of sending the funds. The receiver can respond to this request within a period not exceeding 7 days with either acceptance or rejection, without any liability or obligations on the receiver whatsoever in responding. Money Return requests can only be made for the full amount sent, as it is not possible to request a partial refund of the sent amount at this stage.
General Provisions
- The Bank reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate any of the service functions at any time without prior notice.
- By using the service, you agree to comply with all applicable laws and regulations.
- The customer agrees to accept dealing with the provisions of law No. 20/2014 regarding electronic transactions and its executive regulation, in manner that does not conflict with the provisions of Islamic Sharia.
Data Privacy
We value the privacy of your personal data and are committed to protecting it in accordance with relevant laws and regulations. Personal data is collected solely for the purpose of providing and improving the service. To execute any of the functions under the WAMD service, data is transmitted securely through a national hub operated and managed by KNET – The Shared Electronic Banking Service Company K.S.C.C. Other than KNET, your data will not be shared with any other third party except with your explicit consent or when legal or regulatory authorities request it.
Disputes
Transfers executed within “WAMD” are considered final and not subject to dispute. However, if you feel that your funds movements were not in line with your instructions or if you notice any suspicious activities on “WAMD” in connection with your accounts, we encourage you to contact Baitak service 1803333 for further assistance.
