Kuwait Finance House (KFH) received the AUM Corporate Award 2022 during a ceremony organized by The American University of the Middle East (AUM) in presence of several local, regional, and global institutions.
KFH Group Chief Human Resources Officer, Zeyad Abdullah AlOmar reiterated, in a speech he delivered after receiving the award from the Chairman – Board of Trustees, Fahad Al-Othman, that KFH is committed to its responsibilities towards ambitious Kuwaiti young graduates, thus highlighting KFH pioneering role at the private sector level in recruiting and enablement of national youth talents.
AlOmar added that KFH has the highest number of Kuwaiti employees in the private sector. They are the source of pride that emanates from the bank’s belief that human resources are the most important assets in any institution. National cadets in organizations are the most significant factors to achieve sustainable growth. He emphasized that KFH has succeeded in achieving distinguished Kuwaitization ratios as the number of Kuwaiti employees at the bank during recent years ranged between 97% - 100% of total recruitments.
AlOmar indicated that KFH enjoys a distinguished position at the private sector and global levels. KFH is the most preferred destination for job seekers as it has a perfect work environment and the essentials to make Islamic banking leaders. KFH has graduated many leaders who have occupied leading positions in various organizations and entities.
He indicated that KFH has several cooperation partnerships and initiatives with various universities, colleges and academic educational institutions in Kuwait including American University of the Middle East (AUM). He emphasized that this trend would contribute to the enhancement of the Kuwaiti youth who enjoy high creative, successful, and trustworthy talents. KFH has various examples of distinguished Kuwaiti youth who have proved their efficiency and competency to be creative and responsible.
AlOmar reiterated the significance of enhancing these partnerships to add value to students, universities and the institutions that attract the students and graduates seeking employment.
He added that KFH is keen on participating in employment fairs at the AUM and continues to refurbish the competencies of the graduates through field work and cooperation in various fields e.g., training, recruitments, research exchange, supporting students’ events and other aspects of cooperation
AlOmar expressed his sincere gratitude and appreciation to AUM for the honoring and praised the efforts of the event organizers and appreciated the role which various institutions play to provide appropriate job opportunities to Kuwaiti graduates.
