In collaboration with the Kuwait Society for the Handicapped (KSH), Kuwait Finance House (KFH) launched the second training program to train a group of students with special needs at various KFH departments.
KFH announced the launch of the program for the second year respectively at KFH Auto showroom, Shuwaikh, which is the largest auto showroom in the Middle East. The launch ceremony was held in the presence of KSH management, students, parents, and a group of KFH officials. The training program shall extend till the end of November this year.
KFH has taken the advantage of this partnership which is the first of its kind at the banking sector level in Kuwait. This program is an extension of the first edition which was launched last year with the participation of the students with special needs who were involved in working at various KFH departments and branches.
The Group Chief Human Resources Officer, Zeyad Abdullah AlOmar, reiterated that KFH saves no effort to support this category as part of its leading role in social responsibility. KFH is keen on providing all support to enable and empower the students with special needs through special training programs to grant them expertise and knowledge.
AlOmar added that KFH is keen on applying an accurate selection criterion of the training program that suites the capabilities and talents of the students with special needs, taking into consideration their capabilities, age gap and individual qualifications and providing all the support to make their experience a success. Training is provided through KFH distinguished staff on both training and banking levels.
AlOmar indicated that the trainee students enjoy different skills and talents, thus indicating their compassion and interest in work and performance. Undoubtedly, these talents and capabilities shall have a significant impact on their performance during the training period. KFH employees shall endeavor to focus on developing and growing these capabilities and talents to achieve maximum benefit for the participants in the training program.
KFH enjoys a long record of special needs support in different fields including sports, education, and scientific activities. KFH participates in various events and conferences held for this social category, provides the required care, and highlights their talents, capabilities and skills.
On the banking level, KFH enables the persons with special needs to benefit from the banking products and services. KFH provides all possible means to enable them to avail banking services without any charges or extra costs. KFH provides a special branch for the handicapped in each governorate, appropriate car parking, wheelchairs and other support means required for them.
