Under the patronage of His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, and in the presence of His Excellency the Minister of Education, Dr. Jalal Al-Tabtabaei, Kuwait Finance House (KFH) participated in the 15th edition of the International Invention Fair in the Middle East (IIFME), organized by the Kuwait Science Club and supported by the Kuwait Foundation for the Advancement of Sciences (KFAS).
KFH`s strategic partnership in the 15th IIFME, under the slogan “Where Investors Meet Inventors”, reflects its commitment to supporting education, innovation, and scientific initiatives. This partnership aims to develop societal capabilities and showcase the work of young innovators through a widely attended exhibition. It serves to note that KFH has been a strategic partner of IIFME for over 10 years.
The International Invention Fair in the Middle East is the second largest invention fair globally after the Geneva Fair, and the largest in the Middle East. The 15th IIFME saw a significant increase in participant numbers, with approximately 180 inventors from 42 Arab and foreign countries showcasing 230 inventions across diverse scientific fields. 28 Kuwaiti inventors participate in the fair, showcasing 17 inventions across various scientific fields. They represent several educational and scientific institutions, including Kuwait University, the Kuwait Institute for Scientific Research, the Sabah Al-Ahmad Center for Giftedness and Creativity, and the Public Authority for Applied Education and Training.
KFH is keen to participate in such exhibitions as a scientific platform through which investors and inventors meet, in addition to stakeholders, to promote scientific research for societal prosperity.
Researchers and inventors are recognized for their contributions, inspiring young people to pursue unique scientific innovations that benefit society, support development plans, and advance scientific progress.
KFH is a leader in supporting innovators, honoring Kuwaiti creators with award-winning inventions at major exhibitions and competitions. Furthermore, KFH encourages young Kuwaitis and acts as a catalyst for their achievements. It also engages young entrepreneurs, offering ongoing support to help them succeed regionally and globally.
Innovation and creativity are considered essential components of the work environment at KFH. The bank hosts an annual competition among its employees to identify the best innovations and creative ideas in the banking sector. Employee contributions are characterized by their high alignment with customer needs, competitive challenges, and compatibility with automated systems and supporting programs. This focus on innovation plays a crucial role in business development and enhances service quality, safety, security, speed, and accuracy.
