Kuwait Finance House (KFH) has launched its Ramadan campaign, "Increase Good Deeds in Ramadan," featuring a range of community and volunteer initiatives. The campaign commenced with the distribution of Iftar meals at four locations, the provision of Ramadan baskets, and hospitality services for worshippers at mosques.
The Head of Public Relations and Media at KFH, Yousef Abdullah Al-Ruwaieh, said that this year's Ramadan campaign, "Increase Good Deeds in Ramadan," will feature a wide array of community initiatives, volunteer activities, sports, cultural events, health programs, and daily public engagement.
Ramadan Majla
Al-Ruwaieh revealed that KFH launched its Ramadan campaign, "Increase Good Deeds in Ramadan", by participating in the distribution of "Ramadan Majla" food baskets to families in need, in collaboration with the Kuwait Food Bank and Relief.
Iftar meals
Al-Ruwaieh announced that around 18,000 Iftar meals will be given out to fasting people at key locations across all of Kuwait's governorates. The goal of this initiative is to ensure that the largest number of those in need receive these meals. In addition, meals will be distributed in collaboration with the Kuwait Food and Relief Bank during the entire holy month.
He emphasized that KFH is committed to selecting the finest central kitchens in Kuwait to prepare Iftar meals throughout the holy month of Ramadan, ensuring that fasters receive high-quality, healthy food options.
Sports and health activities
Al-Ruwaieh said that KFH remains committed to promoting sports and health activities for all age groups, highlighting the importance of fitness and public health for both individuals and the community. The sporting events will be diverse and held at various locations.
Cooking Course
Al-Ruwaieh noted that KFH continues to offer cooking classes for its female clients and employees, featuring renowned chefs in Kuwait to promote the concept of healthy home nutrition.
Quran Recitation Competition
Al-Ruwaieh stated that KFH is continuing its annual tradition of organizing the "Qurra’a Baitek" Ramadan competition for the twelfth consecutive year. The bank has pioneered the launch and hosting of this important community event.
Each year, the competition attracts significant participation from diverse demographics and age groups, reflecting its esteemed community significance. It is overseen by a panel of accredited judges and maintained to a high standard. Furthermore, KFH awards valuable prizes to the winners.
Gergean Events
Al-Ruwaieh explained that, through its "Increase Good Deeds in Ramadan" program, KFH will organize multiple Gergean celebrations for children at various prominent locations. These events seek to delight children while simultaneously preserving Kuwaiti cultural heritage.
Iftar banquets with Government Entities
Acknowledging the tireless efforts of state officials from various government entities during the holy month of Ramadan, Al-Ruwaieh affirmed that KFH will continue its initiative to host iftar banquets for on-duty employees. This Ramadan initiative expresses appreciation for their dedication and crucial role in serving the community and ensuring national safety and security.
Holy Quran application
Al-Ruwaieh highlighted that KFH is offering the public the "Quran" application, which is available on both iOS and Android platforms. This application features exclusive specifications and characteristics for users, making it the top choice for accessing the Quran.
The "Quran" application has achieved record numbers in user engagement and downloads across various online stores, thanks to its unique features and user-friendly design. Additionally, the app undergoes meticulous monitoring and continuous updates to enhance its development and improve the experience for users worldwide.
KFH Social media channels
During Ramadan, Al-Ruwaieh explained that KFH continues to utilize its social media platforms to engage with the public and its followers. The bank has produced a series of informative videos covering diverse topics, including health tips and guidance in collaboration with medical doctors and nutrition specialists. Furthermore, KFH is disseminating awareness messages in partnership with the Ministries of Health and Interior. The bank also provides daily Ramadan calendars, hosts various competitions, and offers coverage of events and activities related to the holy month.
KFH Volunteering Team
Al-Ruwaieh highlighted that the volunteer team from KFH consists of bank employees who play a significant role in community service by implementing and overseeing all initiatives of the Ramadan program.
