Kuwait Finance House (KFH) demonstrated its dedication to employee appreciation by celebrating 230 outstanding staff members at the 2024 Qadha program ceremony. Held at the Four Seasons Hotel, the event was attended by KFH executives, including Group CEO, Khaled Yousef AlShamlan, and other senior leaders.
KFH's groundbreaking Qadha program, launched in 2021, is the first of its kind in Kuwaiti banking. This innovative employee recognition program, which also encompasses all other KFH recognition and support initiatives, recently earned global recognition with a Gold Medal from the prestigious Brandon Hall Group for Best Advance in Employee Recognition Program.
KFH Group CEO, Khaled Yousef AlShamlan recognized the top performers of 2024 in his speech at the awards ceremony. "We commend your exceptional efforts, which have positively impacted KFH`s continued achievements and successes. You are KFH`s true wealth, core assets, and key to our continued leadership and excellence," he said.
He added: " Today`s gathering takes on added importance, as it occurs shortly after we reported record-breaking financial performance and remarkable growth in all key financial areas. KFH reported a net profit of approximately KD 602 million, the highest in Kuwait’s banking sector. Net financing income increased by around 18.7%, reaching about KD 1.15 billion, while operating income rose by 11.6% exceeding KD 1.6 billion. Net operating income surpassed KD 1 billion, reflecting a 9% growth rate. KFH also led all banks and companies listed on Boursa Kuwait with a market capitalization of approximately KD 13.6 billion. Additionally, KFH was ranked among the top five MEA banks by market capitalization in the latest S&P rankings.”
Al-Shamlan further explained:"This event follows closely upon our celebration of the launch of our new visual identity, under the slogan "Beyond Horizons". This new identity represents our commitment to advancing Islamic banking as we continue our leadership and positive contributions to the industry. We then launched a new phase in Islamic banking by unveiling the visual identity for KFH - Egypt and KFH - UK."
He attributed these achievements to KFH's dedicated workforce and its strategic plan to become a top 100 global bank within the next ten years.
AlShamlan concluded: "Today's honorees were chosen by their managers in recognition of their exceptional dedication and contributions. This well-deserved recognition highlights your vital role in the success of this esteemed institution. Your efforts are key to KFH's continued leadership and expansion. It is your commitment that enables us to maintain excellence in banking services, fulfilling the aspirations of our shareholders and, most importantly, our customers."
