As part of its commitment to supporting education, innovation, and scientific initiatives, Kuwait Finance House (KFH) concluded its participation in the 15th edition of the International Invention Fair in the Middle East (IIFME) titled “Where Investors Meet Inventors”. The event was held under the patronage of His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, and in the presence of His Excellency the Minister of Education, Dr. Jalal Al-Tabtabaei.
KFH, the strategic partner of the event, was honored by His Excellency the Minister of Education, Dr. Jalal Al-Tabtabaei with the presence of the Chairman of Kuwait Science Club, Talal Jassem Alkharafi. This recognition is an appreciation for KFH’s efforts in fostering innovation by supporting initiatives and activities that aim to develop societal capabilities and showcase the work of young innovators.
KFH Executive Manager Corporate Relations and CSR, Faisal Alsurayye said that KFH has been a strategic partner of IIFME for over 10 years. The Bank is also keen to participate in such exhibitions as a scientific platform through which investors and inventors meet, in addition to stakeholders, to promote scientific research for societal prosperity.
Alsurayye pointed out that around 180 inventors from 42 Arab and foreign countries showcasing 230 inventions across diverse scientific fields participated in the 15th IIFME. 28 Kuwaiti inventors participate in the fair, showcasing 17 inventions across various scientific fields. They represent several educational and scientific institutions, including Kuwait University, the Kuwait Institute for Scientific Research, the Sabah Al-Ahmad Center for Giftedness and Creativity, and the Public Authority for Applied Education and Training.
It is worth noting that KFH is a leader in supporting young innovators, honoring Kuwaiti creators with award-winning inventions at major exhibitions and competitions. Furthermore, KFH encourages young Kuwaitis and acts as a catalyst for their achievements. It also engages young entrepreneurs, offering ongoing support to help them succeed regionally and globally.
