Building on its Ramadan campaign, "Increase Good Deeds in Ramadan", Kuwait Finance House (KFH) is sustaining its efforts to provide hospitality services at mosques across all governorates of Kuwait during Taraweeh and Qiyam prayers. The KFH volunteer team continues to execute campaign initiatives and programs, aiming to foster a culture of volunteerism among youth and deepen the community`s understanding of giving.
This initiative demonstrates KFH`s leadership in community service and its commitment to public engagement during Ramadan and year-round, driven by social responsibility, volunteerism, and community connection.
KFH`s yearly initiative has received positive responses from worshippers, security personnel, and mosque organizers for the Taraweeh and Qiyam prayers.
Furthermore, KFH continues to offer hospitality services throughout the holy month of Ramadan, specifically during the last ten days of the month, by enhancing its presence at various locations and mosques to support worshippers.
The "Increase Good Deeds in Ramadan" campaign includes various societal and voluntary aspects, including the distribution of the "Ramadan Majla" food baskets to families in need, in collaboration with the Kuwait Food and Relief Bank.
KFH distributes daily Iftar meals to those fasting across Kuwait, providing approximately 30,000 meals throughout the holy month.
“Increase Good Deeds in Ramadan" program features diverse community initiatives, including sports and health activities for all age groups to promote exercise and health awareness. Additionally, the program offers cooking classes led by renowned Kuwaiti chefs for bank customers and employees, emphasizing healthy home nutrition.
KFH also organized Ramadan Quran Recitation Competition, the first of its kind in Kuwait, for the twelfth consecutive year. Approximately 60 winners from various categories were honored during the event.
KFH has organized the largest public event of its kind, the V-Fit virtual walking challenge, in collaboration with its strategic partner, the V-Thru app. This initiative aims to promote health awareness and encourage physical activity. The event, held for the fifth consecutive year, took place at nine locations across Kuwait. The competition allows participants to earn credits and purchase value in the V-Thru app for every 2,000 steps they take, encouraging them to stay active and supporting the Kuwaiti youth businesses that are featured in the app.
KFH organized three-day Gergean events for children at several key locations across Kuwait. This initiative aimed to preserve Kuwaiti heritage and traditional customs while bringing joy and happiness to children.
