Kuwait Finance House (KFH) in collaboration with the Capital Governorate, represented by His Excellency Sheikh Abdullah Salem Al-Ali Al-Sabah, distributed Iftar meals in the Capital governorate. This initiative is part of the "Increase Good Deeds in Ramadan" campaign, which features a variety of social events, sports activities, youth programs, health awareness, and volunteer opportunities.
The event was attended by His Excellency, the Governor of Kuwait Capital City, Sheikh Abdullah Salem Al-Ali Al-Sabah, who praised KFH’s initiatives, efforts and keen participation in charitable work, enhancing its social and national responsibilities.
Sheikh Abdullah Al-Sabah stated that the charitable work, especially in these holly days of Ramadan, are directly linked with the concept of giving and solidarity in the society.
Moreover, KFH participated in distributing the "Ramadan Majla" food baskets to families in need in a collaboration with the Kuwait Food and Relief Bank. This initiative promotes a spirit of volunteerism and helps instill and deepen the concept of giving.
KFH's Ramadan program includes sharing iftar banquets for on-duty employees of government throughout the holy month. This Ramadan initiative expresses appreciation for their dedication and crucial role in serving the community and ensuring national safety and security.
The volunteer team at KFH is dedicated to selecting the finest central kitchens in Kuwait to prepare iftar meals throughout the holy month of Ramadan, ensuring that a healthy meal with high nutritional value is provided to those observing the fast.
It is noteworthy that approximately 30,000 Iftar meals will be distributed during the holy month.
An Eventful Ramadan program
KFH is organizing the Ramadan Quran recitation competition for the twelfth consecutive year. The bank pioneered this initiative and was the first to host such an important community event.
In addition, KFH continues its efforts to provide hospitality services in mosques. It organizes sports and health activities for all age groups to promote the importance of sports and public health for individuals and the community. The bank also hosts special events for the Gergean celebration to engage with the public in various vibrant locations, as well as cooking class for its female customers and employees.
During the holy month, KFH utilizes its social media channels to present a series of informative videos across various fields, offering health tips and guidance in collaboration with doctors and nutrition specialists. Additionally, it shares awareness messages in partnership with the Ministries of Health and Interior, publishes a daily Ramadan calendar, organizes various competitions, and covers events and activities related to the holy month.
