Kuwait Finance House (KFH) took part in the 2024/2025 graduation ceremony for the sixth group of the "Partners in Employing Them" national initiative. The event was a collaborative effort with the Public Authority for Disability Affairs (PADA) and was held under the patronage of the Minister of Social Affairs, Children and Family Affairs, Dr. Amthal Al-Huwaila.
During his speech at the ceremony, KFH Head of Public Relations and Media, Yousef Abdullah Al-Ruwaieh, stated that KFH's involvement reflects its adherence to social responsibility and its leading role in advocating for the inclusion and empowerment of people of determination in the job market.
He added that KFH's support for the "Partners in Employing Them" initiative demonstrates its leadership in sustainability and its dedication to diversity and inclusion.
Al-Ruwaieh emphasized that KFH is deeply committed to supporting people of determination. The bank has rolled out many initiatives and forged strategic partnerships with organizations focused on this group to offer suitable training. For instance, KFH partnered with the Kuwait Society for the Handicapped to help integrate people with disabilities into society and provide them with training and development that can lead to sustainable, inclusive employment.
He added that KFH is the first bank in Kuwait to launch a comprehensive program for people of determination, partnering with the Public Authority for Disability Affairs to provide internships and full-time jobs.
Al-Ruwaieh said that: KFH recently participated in the "Partners in Employing Them" career fair, showcasing available job opportunities to people of determination. A dedicated KFH team was on hand to answer questions, explain banking operations, highlight the diverse departments within the bank, and discuss how the banking sector fosters skill development. This initiative reflects KFH's commitment to national and societal goals, aiming to boost economic development by encouraging people of determination to join the private sector, enhance productivity, and build a society of equal opportunity."
He explained that KFH is dedicated to comprehensively supporting people of determination, offering them not only training and job opportunities but also prioritizing the quality of services they receive. For example, KFH provides a range of tailored services, including sign language-trained staff at branches across various governorates, along with convenient parking spaces, wheelchairs, and easy entrances for accessibility. Additionally, the bank offers accessible ATMs (with earphone compatibility) and provides account opening forms, contracts, and transaction documents in Braille, all reflecting KFH's commitment to fulfilling the aspirations of this vital segment of society.
Al-Ruwaieh extended his congratulations to the graduates of the sixth batch of the "Partners in Employing Them" national initiative and their families. He reaffirmed KFH's ongoing dedication to social responsibility and upholding sustainability standards, which involves actively supporting people of determination through diverse initiatives, activities, and events.
He also extended his gratitude to the graduates' families, acknowledging their crucial role in supporting their children, bolstering their self-confidence, and fostering an environment conducive to their growth and development. He emphasized that this family support is a key factor in the graduates' success and their full integration into both society and the job market.
