Tam Bank, the first Sharia-compliant digital bank in Kuwait, demonstrated its unique digital services and solutions tailored for customers of all segments, particularly the youth. This was during a workshop held for participants of the PR Academy by KFH program, aiming to educate undergraduate students and fresh graduates on the fundamental aspects of the public relations and media department at KFH.
During the workshop, the team addressed the preparation phase prior to the Tam digital bank launch, including selecting the name, logo, design and the brand that would attract the youth and cater to their aspirations as well as the innovative services and solutions. The team also talked about the social interaction the bank offers to its customers, the method of opening an account, in addition to the exceptional digital banking experience customers can enjoy under a single mobile application based on cutting-edge technology.
The workshop also highlighted the significance of digital transformation and the Tam’s advanced infrastructure, focusing on enriching the youth’s banking experience through developed services and exclusive solutions.
On the digital banking front, Tam offers unlimited support to the youth segment at all levels. Customers are able to redeem their points in exchange for offers from famous brands. It also provides weekly offers from different Kuwaiti restaurants and coffee shops.
Customers can directly open an account and enjoy the various online benefits. To open a Tam account, customers must be at least 15 years of age and have a smart phone to download Tam application. When opening an account, customers will have access to a wider array of banking services, including (opening an account, transferring student allowance, tracking expenses, transferring funds), in addition to rewards program, points, offers and exceptional discounts that meet all their needs, as well as a 24/7 customer service.
It is worth noting that the PR Academy program included workshops and field visits, which are valuable additions to the students' learning journey. Some of the field visits were to KFH Capital, KFH Auto showroom, Coded Academy, Al-Salam Hospital, and the Kuwait Times newspaper, as well as a photography session with the renowned photographer Abdullah Al-Shaiji.
The program also provided students and fresh graduates with the opportunity to gain knowledge in public relations and media through updated and top-notch training methods, allowing them to make the most of their summer break.
