Kuwait Finance House (KFH) honored its employees who successfully completed the 11th edition of the Kuwaiti Graduates Development Program (KGDP), held from March 19th to December 21st, 2023.
During the honoring ceremony, KFH Group Chief Human Resources and Transformation Officer, Zeyad AlOmar said: "KFH's success in achieving its core objectives and strengthening its strategic position is primarily thanks to the efforts and excellence of its human capital. Recognizing this, KFH's management is committed to continue employee investment, supporting their skill development and enriching their experience."
AlOmar praised the Central Bank of Kuwait (CBK) for its efforts and the cooperation with the Kuwait Banking Association (KBA) in developing the skills of banking sector employees and supporting new graduates in the field through the KGDP.
He explained that the program equips fresh graduates with the skills necessary for the job market. This comprehensive program combines theoretical and practical training, enriching participants' experience and preparing them to be a competent workforce.
AlOmar congratulated KFH employees who had completed the program and wished them continued success. He added, "I assure you that hard work and continuous improvement of your talents will pave the way for career growth and success. At KFH, we are keen on attracting the top young talent and offering them the opportunity to become future leaders."
It is worth noting that the KGDP program is launched as part of the Kafa'a initiative by the Central Bank of Kuwait (CBK) in collaboration with Kuwaiti banks. Managed by the Institute of Banking Studies (KIBS), the program is considered one of the best choices for fresh graduates interested in entering the banking and financial industry. It offers a diverse range of specialized training content in the sector.
This annual program, run by CBK and local banks, selects participants for a year-long training and hiring initiative, after which they are officially appointed to banking positions.
Additionally, the program includes lectures and online training workshops in collaboration with specialized prestigious companies in the field. It also encompasses practical training within local Kuwaiti banks. After completing the local round, participants are sent abroad to familiarize them with the latest banking and financial techniques and introduce them to external banking practices and international experience.
