Kuwait Finance House (KFH) has received the 23rd edition of His Highness Sheikh Salem Al-Ali Al-Sabah Informatics Award for 2023 for the category of excellence in digital transformation in technical financial solutions. The award ceremony was held at Bayan Palace under the patronage and presence of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah.
KFH Chairman, Hamad Abdulmohsen Al Marzouq said: "We are honored to receive this award from His Highness Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al- Sabah. Winning His Highness Sheikh Salem Al-Ali Al-Sabah Informatics Award for 2023 for the category of excellence in digital transformation in technical financial solutions recognizes our excellence in providing comprehensive digital financial services. This includes Tam Digital Bank, the first Sharia-compliant digital bank in Kuwait."
Al Marzouq added "The recognition of KFH's contributions and leadership in providing exceptional digital products and services motivates us to continue pursuing digital excellence. It also furthers KFH's role in the private sector, aligning with Kuwait's 2035 vision that aims to transform Kuwait into a regional financial and trade hub."

KFH's 2023 digital initiatives were among the criteria considered for the award. The diverse and highly efficient initiatives successfully met customer aspirations, enhancing banking experience, Al Marzouq revealed.
He added “KFH is keen on establishing an innovation-based environment and has pioneering Digital Academy that empowers its human talents to develop new business initiatives to contribute to creating unique solutions and services.”
Al Marzouq said that KFH distinguished itself by pioneering various digital financial services within the banking industry. These services included launching the “Zaheb” digital platform, and for the first time in the Middle East, instant credit, and prepaid card printing service, in addition to the Liveness Face Matching service in branches, emergency cash, exceptional digital services for gold accounts (selling, buying, delivery, storing) as well as transferring funds from prepaid cards to the account. KFH also launched its first Shari'a-compliant digital bank in Kuwait, Tam Digital Bank.
