As part of its pioneering role in Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and support for students and education, Kuwait Finance House (KFH) participated in a recent event organized by Abdullah Al-Salem University (AASU) for higher education students.
With sponsorship from KFH, the AASU organized an orientation meeting for the first group of scholarship recipients at the university who will be pursuing higher studies. Representing the bank, KFH Executive Manager Media and Government Relations, Mohammed Alfaris, attended the meeting along with Dr. Adel Al-Husainan, Secretary of the AASU Founding Board, and Prof. Dr. Ali Almutairi, Founding Board member and Acting Vice Dean for Academic and Assessment Affairs. Several university officials and faculty members were also present.
On this occasion, AASU presented an appreciation plaque to KFH in recognition of its support for the university’s activities and students throughout the academic year.
Alfaris emphasized that KFH continues its leading CSR journey, with a particular focus on the academic field. This is accomplished by expanding efforts to support both students and private and public universities.
He pointed out that KFH is at the forefront of supporting youth and students, boasting a strong history of social contributions. This includes strategic partnerships with various universities and colleges, as well as consistent support for students’ graduation projects. KFH has also been an active participant in numerous seminars, research discussions, workshops, and lectures aimed at advancing professional and academic development.
Additionally, Alfaris highlighted the importance of continuous learning to fulfill students' ambitions by enrolling in higher education programs. He emphasized that this would enhance their academic and educational achievements, ultimately reflecting positively on their future professional performance.
He extended his best wishes for the scholarship awardees in pursuing their academic path and professional future.
