Kuwait Finance House (KFH) has organized the 11th edition of the annual competition for reciting the Holy Quran for KFH customers under the age of 18. The competition includes valuable prizes and is taking place during the period 19th to 21st of March during the holy month of Ramadan.
The competition witnessed an astounding participation of reciters of the holy Quran. In addition, the fact that KFH was the first to organize such competition has enhanced the trust it enjoys among customers, in addition to the availability of many valuable elements that enhance the competition environment and motivate the contestants. The most important of these elements is the judges panel, good organization and appropriate arrangement of the contestants’ capabilities who are from various segments, with different abilities and levels.
The competition, which is organized for male and female, encourages the discovery of talented contestants in Quran recitation and contributes to motivating the young generation to read the holy Quran while clarifying some of the provisions of reciting the Holy Book. The competition events were broadcasted on KFH social media channels as well as media coverage by local visual and audio sources.
The competition, which is the largest in prizes value, and was organized in collaboration with GUST, is part of KFH’s "Increase Good Deeds in Ramadan" campaign, which includes iftar meals campaign. The program also includes providing hospitality service in mosques, sports and youth activities, daily interaction with the public, Gergean events, awareness videos in cooperation with nutritionists and doctors, as well as videos on traffic awareness, promoting a culture of not speeding during Iftar in cooperation with the Ministry of Interior.
In addition, the program comprises sharing Iftar with many entities that perform their duty during Iftar time, as well as distributing, in cooperation with the Kuwait Red Crescent Society, the food basket "Ramadan Basket" and Eid clothing to families in need in a new affirmation of KFH's leadership in social responsibility.
