Kuwait Finance House (KFH) has organized a summer program in partnership with Sadu House for “Baiti” account customers. The summer program includes "Fun with Weaving" workshops, introducing and training children in the art of handicrafts with a focus on weaving. This initiative demonstrates KFH’s dedication to connecting the younger generation with traditional culture and national heritage, fostering intergenerational unity through its strategic partnership with Sadu House.
The program, which was hosted at Sadu House for a week, targets "Baiti" account customers aged 8 to 13. It includes workshops and interactive lectures conducted by supervisors and experts from Sadu House. The program aims to teach children handicrafts and new skills related to weaving, and introduce them to the unique textile heritage, particularly Al Sadu. This initiative is designed to develop children's artistic abilities, connect them with their heritage, and foster teamwork through collaboration with other young participants. Ultimately, the program seeks to nurture creativity and innovation by encouraging the exchange of knowledge and enhancing their critical thinking skills.
Additionally, the collaboration between KFH and Sadu House emphasizes the environmental factor, aligning with the concept of sustainability, a key component of the bank's strategy, vision, and mission. Additionally, the program aligns with KFH's (Keep it Green) environmental campaign through the use of recycled materials to convey to the children the significance of recycling and environment protection.
It is worth mentioning that KFH offers a “Baiti” account for children from birth until the age of 14. The account contributes to instilling the concept of saving among children. It also provides numerous advantages and helps children understand the importance of saving as a banking behavior that contributes to building their future.
