Kuwait Finance House (KFH) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Sabah Al-Ahmad Center for Giftedness and Creativity (SACGC), a center affiliated to Kuwait Foundation for the Advancement of Sciences (KFAS). The center is dedicated to facilitating the integration of creativity, technology and innovation in the community. This MoU is the first of its kind in the banking sector, demonstrating KFH’s commitment to supporting social development through innovation and creativity.
During the signing event, KFH Deputy General Manager Public Relations and Media, Yousef Abdulla Al-Ruwaieh stated that the MoU reinforces the extended ties with SACGC. “This partnership is part of KFH's leading role in supporting creativity initiatives among the youth, benefiting society and achieving its development goals in various fields” added Al-Ruwaieh.
He indicated the MoU reflects KFH’s continuous endeavors to take part in supporting scientific activities and highlighting the efforts of young national creators and innovators to reach the pinnacle of development and growth.
Al-Ruwaieh expressed his confidence in the successful initiative and its contribution to developing the innovators’ capabilities.
He indicated that KFH will work closely with SACGC in supporting various programs for different age groups, including kids, high school students as well as university students and graduates in line with KFH’s CSR and innovation strategy.
KFH Deputy General Manager Digital Transformation, Tareq Al-Ajeel said that this MoU is in line with KFH’s digital transformation and innovation efforts, thanks to SACGC’s unique services in enhancing and accelerating digital transformation.
Al-Ajeel added: “KFH has always been keen on participating in similar partnerships that would improve employees’ talents at KFH. This participation reflects the Bank’s leadership in digital transformation and keeping abreast of the latest technology in the Islamic banking and Digital Economy worldwide, while empowering a new generation of employees for creativity and scientific innovation in the banking field.”
Meanwhile, SACGC General Manager, Neda Al-Daihani said: “We are pleased to sign this MoU with KFH, one of the largest banks in Kuwait and the region. The MoU is a strategic partnership that will contribute positively to the development of the innovation industry and the values of creativity.”
He pointed out that SACGC aims to nurture and disseminate a culture based on creativity and modern technology in the Kuwaiti community. The Center’s departments offer science and technology-based training programs and competitions to encourage the youth segment to hone their technological and creative skills. The Center also focuses on providing hands-on and scientific training courses for different age groups to equip the human capital with the necessary skills under the supervision of dedicated and competent teams.
It is worth noting that KFH focuses on supporting and fostering an innovative approach within the Bank through its Group’s Innovation Competition. The annual competition affirms the significant role of creativity in boosting customer service quality through innovative services and solutions.
Additionally, KFH has a track record of initiatives that focus on innovation and the youth segment, including its extended partnership with CODED Academy, the launch of (You are our pride) platform in addition to the many innovative services and strategic partnerships.
