Kuwait Finance House (KFH) organized an honoring ceremony to celebrate 150 high school top achievers in literature, science, and religious disciplines. The ceremony also recognized students from private schools and those with international recognition.
The ceremony was held under the patronage of Minister of Education, Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Adel Al-Adwani, and in the presence of KFH Kuwait Chief Executive Officer, Khaled AlShamlan, and Maryam Al-Enezi, Assistant Undersecretary for Educational Development at the Ministry of Education.
In his speech, AlShamlan extended the congratulations on behalf of KFH to the high school graduates who achieved the highest academic honors for the 2023-2024 academic year. He also commended the role of the graduates' parents and families, whose unwavering support throughout the year undoubtedly contributed to this achievement.
Furthermore, AlShamlan expressed his sincere gratitude to His Excellency Dr. Adel Al-Adwani, Minister of Education, Higher Education and Scientific Research, the sponsor representative Assistant Undersecretary for Educational Development at the Ministry of Education, Maryam Al-Enezi and the entire educational personnel at the Ministry for their vital role and tireless efforts throughout the school year.
AlShamlan noted that high school graduation is the start of an exciting new chapter in university studies journey which requires planning effectively to maintain this success. He also stated that choosing a major that aligns with students’ aspirations and the employment market demands is crucial.
“Setting clear long-term goals, continuing your learning process, and acquiring new skills are all essential elements that pave the way for distinguished opportunities," he added.
AlShamlan added that:" KFH prioritizes youth and outstanding students, a core tenet of its strategy. As a testament to this commitment, KFH established the 'You are our Pride' platform, the first of its kind in Kuwait, to celebrate young achievers. KFH is also a leading supporter of youth in general, with a particular focus on sponsoring outstanding students. This dedication reflects KFH's belief that young people are the nation's true assets, the foundation for driving future development and prosperity."

Meanwhile, Assistant Undersecretary for Educational Development at the Ministry of Education, Maryam Al-Enezi commended KFH’s annual initiative to honor outstanding students.
She stated: “Societal partnerships play a significant role in fostering various aspects of development, particularly education. We applaud KFH and its Board of Directors for hosting a ceremony honoring these outstanding high school graduates. This initiative serves as a powerful motivator, inspiring them to continue their success in the future.”
