Kuwait Finance House (KFH) has celebrated its distinguished employees for the year 2023 under Qadha program in an honoring ceremony at Arraya Ballroom. Qadha program is the first of its kind in the banking sector in Kuwait. Its selection process is based on precise criteria and global studies of performance evaluation, in addition to world-class professional aspects. The program covers all departments and is designed to reward employees for their distinctive hard work on monthly, quarterly, or annual bases.
Launched in 2021 as the umbrella of all other recognition initiatives, Qadha has recently received Brandon Hall’s Gold Medal in the “Best Advance in Employee Recognition Program” in the world.
In his speech, KFH Acting Group CEO, Abdulwahab Iesa Al Rushood lauded the dedication and continuous improvement of KFH talents throughout the year, which reflected positively on the performance and the exceptional results of KFH.
“Thanks to your commitment and outstanding efforts, KFH achieved exceptional financial results in 2023. KFH reported a record net profit of KD 584.5 million, an increase of 63.4% which is the highest-ever recorded in its journey and the history of the Kuwaiti banking sector,” Al Rushood added. He said: “Undoubtedly, the solid financial achievement increases our obligation to maintain this success and leadership.”
He noted that the distinguished efforts of KFH employees contributed primarily to enabling the Bank to maintain its course of success.
He added: “KFH is currently going through a transformational phase that is interpreted through various elements. These include your talents, growing financial indicators, increased market share and competitive capabilities. The merger with the AUB also adds a significant and positive outlook to the current phase, putting us all face to face with a historic opportunity to develop, grow and lead the Islamic finance industry in Kuwait and the world. I have full confidence that you truly deserve this recognition”.
