Kuwait Finance House (KFH) signed a collaboration agreement with the American International University (AIU) as part of its social responsibility and commitment to promoting education, students, and youth.
The signing ceremony was attended by KFH Group Chief Human Resources and Transformation Officer, Zeyad Abdullah Al Omar, Mr. Nael Al Awadhi, a member of AIU's Board of Trustees, and other attendees from both parties.
Al Omar affirmed, in a press release, that KFH remains committed to supporting and assisting public and private academic institutions in their efforts to qualify the nation’s youth. He noted that this aligns with KFH’s focus on supporting and developing young national talents, as well as KFH’s strategy in education, development, and training.
Al Omar pointed out that such agreements contribute to the development of society and introduce ambitious young people to the importance of self-development, in addition to enhancing efficiency, promoting academic attainment, and working in the private sector. He added that the private sector is an appealing atmosphere for individuals aspiring to grow their skills and excel in their careers.
Al-Omar emphasized KFH's interest in training and Kuwaitization of the workforce. He noted that KFH provides integrated and advanced programs in collaboration with the largest international academic institutions.
He added that KFH endorses the endeavors of universities to channel the students’ potential towards enhancing their creativity through specialized activities and programs pertaining to behavioral, professional, technological, and accounting skills associated with Islamic economics and banking practices. Additionally, leadership programs and other advanced comprehensive programs are designed in accordance with the latest market demands and aligned with international educational and development standards.
Mr. Nael Al Awadhi, a member of AIU's Board of Trustees, stressed that the main goal of education is to improve society in all fields.
He explained that: "The American International University believes that one of its most important responsibilities is to promote the nationals and help them gain the best skills and capabilities that will elevate Kuwait to the rank of developed countries."
"The university believes that this advancement should be in academic and professional collaboration with the private and public sectors, which are the main artery of the country's economy,” he added.
Al Awadhi stressed that the signing of the collaboration agreement with KFH is a real breakthrough for training and educating and for the exchange of information and expertise.
