As part of its social responsibility and continuous health awareness efforts, Kuwait Finance House (KFH) launched the Movember campaign to raise awareness of men's health and encourage them to adopt healthy preventive measures.
This campaign is part of KFH’s continuous dedication to promoting public health awareness and encouraging employees and the public to adopt a healthy lifestyle. To achieve the sustainability goals, KFH’s primary emphasis lies in giving priority to the well-being and safety of its employees and the broader society.
Movember is an annual global event held each year in November to raise awareness of men’s health issues. It is similar to the Annual Breast Cancer Awareness campaign, which focuses on women’s health and the importance of early screening.
KFH’s Movember campaign included various awareness events, through KFH’s social media platforms (@KFHGroup) such as awareness messages from specialized doctors in cooperation with Al Salam Hospital and Dasman Diabetes Institute.
A short film was also filmed with Mohammed Al-Hajri, a medicine student diagnosed with diabetes from a young age. He explained how he copes with the disease and advised ways to deal with diabetes through a healthy and balanced lifestyle.
Additionally, KFH launched a special campaign for employees to raise awareness of men’s health. It included tips on paying attention to health, exercise and nutritional values.
