Adding to its rich record of achievements, Kuwait Finance House (KFH) has recently launched a new service in its branches for the first time in Kuwait; the Liveness Face Matching service.
Acting Group Chief Executive Officer, Abdulwahab Iesa Al Rushood, said that by linking with the Public Authority for Civil Information (PACI), the new service compares customer’s live image with the registered image on PACI system, allowing the retrieval of an array of services based on the customer’s branch and segment within the bank.
Al Rushood added that the one-time registration in this service can be completed through devices available in KFH branches by scanning the customer’s civil ID, or the QR code on the Kuwait Mobile ID. This allows branch employees to easily recognize the customer and offer better enhanced services and communication with customers.
In line with KFH's commitment to delivering state-of-the-art banking services, and outstanding banking experience, Al Rushood pointed out that newly launched service helps customers save time and reduces the previously required steps.
Al Rushood added that this digital initiative confirms KFH's leadership in digital transformation and its role in leading the development of online banking services, through its branches and KFHGO branches.
He emphasized the significance of integrating technology, specifically artificial intelligence (AI), across different banking transactions, along with collaborating with Fintech companies, to offer distinctive services and solutions that enhance operational efficiency and performance.
Al Rushood went on to say that efforts are being made to advance the development of wider variety of digital banking products and services with the aim to make (digitization) the modus operandi of KFH, thus maintaining its leading position locally and globally.
Furthermore, Al Rushood said that KFH's most prominent milestone unveiled recently by launching Tam, the first Shari'a-compliant digital bank in Kuwait. With its modern youthful design, user-friendly and efficient usage, along with innovative banking services backed by advanced technology, exceptional points and rewards Tam will fulfill and exceed youth’s expectations.
Al Rushood stressed the primary driver of future growth is the advancement of digital technology, which is also a major catalyst for transforming the banking sector.
