Kuwait Finance House (KFH) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Australian University (AU) for strengthening cooperation between the two sides in terms of training, teaching, and attracting talents, in addition to organizing workshops and educational and social programs. The MoU also affirms KFH’s leading role in supporting students and academic initiatives to raise educational standards and scientific research.
KFH Group Chief Human Resources and Transformation Officer, Zeyad Abdullah Al Omar attended the MoU signing event along with AU Asst. to the President for Support Services, Eng. Sager Al-Sharhan and a number of officials from both sides.
Al Omar stated that the MoU will establish new academic and professional opportunities between KFH and the AU, which represents an added value to both sides.
Al Omar added that, as part of the MoU, KFH will attract exceptional students to its summer programs in order to improve their competencies and prepare them professionally for their future careers, which is in line with KFH’s keenness to enhance its position at the private sector level in training and recruiting Kuwaiti talents, as well as providing them with the opportunity to build a successful career path as they are the most significant elements for achieving a sustainable development.
He also pointed out that KFH has made several achievements in supporting students and the educational process in general, saying that KFH has remarkable relationships and strategic partnerships with universities in addition to public and private educational institutions. He stressed the Bank’s efforts in moving forward with its commitment and continuing to provide constant support towards professional development efforts for the youth.
Meanwhile, Al-Sharhan said: "I congratulate both sides on taking this momentous step. This MoU between AU and KFH will promote progress and the exchange of expertise by offering students the opportunity to engage in the Bank's environment and encourage them to participate in its summer training programs.”
“AU will provide the venue and facilities for KFH to utilize for the training of its employees by the respective AU department, in addition to co-organizing awareness campaigns for the younger generations”, Al-Sharhan added.
