Kuwait Finance House (KFH) organized an honoring ceremony to celebrate 120 high school toppers in literature, science and religious studies, in addition to top achievers from special education schools for the academic year 2022/2023.
The ceremony was held under the patronage of Minister of Education, Dr. Hamad Al-Adwani, and in the presence of the Secretary of the Educational Development and Activities Sector, Dr. Ghanim Al-Sulaimani representing Minister of Education, KFH Group Chief Retail and Private Banking Officer, Khaled Alshamlan, and Group Deputy General Manager Public Relations and Media, Yousef Al-Ruwaieh.
Alshamlan congratulated in his speech the high school toppers, students’ parents and families who supported them and stood by their side during the academic year until they reaped the fruits of their diligence and dedication, praising their great role in the excellence of their children.
Alshamlan also thanked and appreciated the sponsor of the ceremony, His Excellency the Minister of Education, Dr. Hamad Al-Adwani, and members of the administrative and teaching staff for their efforts throughout the academic year, pointing out that they are certainly partners of success and the main pillar in supporting students and the success of the educational process in general.
Alshamlan added: "This excellence that you are living today is not the ultimate destination, but rather the beginning of a journey filled with hope and hard work. This journey must be accompanied by many factors that must be taken into account to sustain success, such as choosing a university major that suits your ambition and passion, setting clear goals for your future in academic and professional terms, continuing to learn and develop skills as knowledge and skills open the doors to opportunities, and finally contributing to the community by participating in social and voluntary activities."
Alshamlan stressed KFH's keenness to organize this ceremony on an annual basis to honor the outstanding students, as part of the "You are our Pride" program, which falls within the strategy of social responsibility and the interest in young talents, science and learning.
“This ceremony has become an important date for the distinguished students in high school in its various departments, and an opportunity to appreciate them for the exceptional results they have achieved at Kuwait’s level” He added.
Alshamlan also expressed his hope that students will maintain this excellence in the coming stages of education, as well as in various stages of academic and professional life to serve Kuwait and its people.
“Having a track record of remarkable achievements in supporting the education and youth, KFH is one of the first and largest supporters of youth, and students. This reflects its belief that young national talents are the real wealth of the country, and the basis for the process of development and prosperity.” He added.
The representative of the Minister of Education and Secretary of the Educational Development and Activities Sector, Dr. Ghanim Al-Sulaimani, praised KFH's initiative in organizing an honoring ceremony for high school toppers on an annual basis.
Meanwhile, the MC from the Ministry of Education said: "Over the past years, KFH participated in organizing and sponsoring student activities and forums inside and outside Kuwait and supporting many purposeful student events in all their forms, whether scientific, sporting, cultural or social. KFH aims to ensure that students assume their social responsibility, and in accordance with a clear vision that the youth of Kuwait deserve all appreciation and support”.
He added that students require the concerted efforts of everyone to overcome difficulties in order to obtain education to serve their country and build a better future for their society, as they are the basic building blocks in society."
Students and parents thanked KFH and praised its initiative in honoring students, which leaves a great positive impact on them and motivates future generations for more diligence and giving.
