With an aim to digitally transform its strategic business functions and align its future business goals and strategies to deliver a modern, digital employee experience; Kuwait Finance House (KFH) applied as the first bank in Kuwait, Oracle Fusion Cloud Applications to replace its highly customized on-premises legacy Oracle business systems. The recent go-live will help standardize business processes on a common data platform, enabling KFH to provide a consistent employee experience across teams and more easily manage and scale their services across their subsidiaries.
“At KFH, digital transformation in compliance with the Central Bank of Kuwait is vital towards enhancing HR business efficiencies for sustained growth and building the workforce of the future that is free from manual and repetitive tasks and instead focuses on delivering high productivity and enablement”, said Zeyad Abdullah Al-Omar, Group Chief Human Resources Officer, at KFH.
“Enhancing and standardizing the bank’s HR processes with the power of cloud technology will contribute towards increased productivity, greater access to actionable insights, and enhanced customer and employee experience,” he added.
By leveraging best-of-breed solutions like Oracle Fusion Cloud Human Capital Management (HCM), we want to bring the bank to the next level of HR digital maturity. The implementation will contribute to increased efficiency and productivity and will provide AI and data capabilities that we can take advantage of to develop business performance and agility, said Haitham Abdulaziz Al-Terkait, Group Chief Information Officer, at Kuwait Finance House.
By creating a single HCM cloud platform, the bank is ideally positioned to capture growth opportunities in Kuwait and in key regional markets, with strong capabilities across the value chain to support future expansion plans.
“Oracle Cloud HCM will enable KFH to connect every process across the employee lifecycle, helping improve decision-making and reduce operational costs. With AI-powered technology such as digital assistants and hundreds of new capabilities added each quarter, Oracle Cloud HCM will also enable KFH to take advantage of the latest innovations and best practices to operate its business more efficiently and better empower the bank’s employees, and the company’s HR leadership ”, said Rahul Misra, Vice President, Business applications, Gulf and South Africa, Oracle.
