Kuwait Finance House (KFH) held honoring ceremony to celebrate 130 Kuwait high school toppers in the literature, science, religious studies in addition to top achievers from private schools who won distinguished awards for the academic year 2021/2022.
The ceremony was held at the Sheraton hotel under the patronage of Minister of Education, Higher Education and Scientific Research Dr. Ali Al-Mudhaf, and in the presence of Assistant Undersecretary for Educational Development at the Ministry of Education, Faisal Al-Maqseed, and from KFH Group Chief Retail and Private Banking Officer, Khaled Yousif Alshamlan, Group DGM – Public Relations and Media, Yousef Abdullah Al-Ruwaieh, Executive Manager -Media and Government Relations, Mohammed Alfaris.
Speaking at the ceremony, Group Chief Retail and Private Banking Officer, Khaled Yousif Alshamlan stated: "On behalf of KFH, I am pleased to congratulate our brothers and sisters, the high school toppers, as well as their families who stood by them and encouraged them during their school year."
Alshamlan added “I would also like to extend my thanks and gratitude to his excellency Minister of Education and Higher Education Dr. Ali Al-Mudhaf for sponsoring this honoring ceremony, and to all undersecretaries and members of the administrative personnel and teaching staff for their efforts throughout the school year. They are indeed partners in this success and the key element in supporting the educational process and their students.”
He noted “This ceremony, that KFH is keen to organize each year, has become an important occasion for high school toppers in all disciplines, and a stance in which we pause to celebrate their outstanding achievements nationwide. We hope that this celebration will contribute to maintain the motivation, determination, and success in your next journey in pursuit of education in different colleges and achieve higher levels of education to serve our beloved Kuwait.”
Alshamlan revealed that KFH is one of the first and biggest supporters of youth in general aspects, and in particular school toppers. The Bank has a top record of achievements in supporting the learning journey and youth which stems from its belief that young talents are the true assets of the country, saying that “they are the pillars of the country’s present, future and the backbone for prosperity.”
He stressed that supporting high school toppers and distinguished students is at the very heart of KFH strategy and part of (You are our Pride) initiative which the Bank launched as an honoring gesture for top achievers in different fields.
Closing his speech, Alshamlan reiterated his congrats to the students on their achievement wishing them a bright future full of success.
