Kuwait Finance House (KFH) announced that Turkish Airlines has joined Baitak Rewards Program. The partnership will allow members of Baitak Rewards to exchange their points with Miles&Smiles program of Turkish Airlines using Baitak Rewards mobile app or website. This partnership comes as a continuation of the development of customers experience with Baitak Rewards Program to enjoy the exclusive privileges which the program offers.
The Executive Manager – Credit and Charge Card Products, Talal AlArbeed said that partnership with the Miles&Smiles program is considered as a new development in the rewards program which they have always worked to achieve. KFH customers will be able to exchange the earned points and enjoy reward flights, upgrade travelling class, extra baggage and save up to 50% on reservation using cash payment.
AlArbeed affirmed that the program comes as part of the efforts to enhance customer’s privileges and achieve their satisfaction. He noted that against every KD 1/- purchases the customer shall earn points which can be exchanged for other purchases at a group of more than 150 highly ranked stores and service centers. The holders of KFH cards which are qualified to participate in the program, shall be registered automatically in KFH Rewards Program. KFH points may be exchanged through online coupon in KFH Rewards Program Application on mobile or website of Turkish Airline directly or through the products of participating stores. A package of distinguished offers shall accompany the launch of the new KFH Rewards Program. Customers who download the rewards program application for the first time shall be granted 1000 points.
He added that the program, in its initial stage, shall include a group of highly reputable companies with global trademarks from different sectors, more than 100 thousand members and more than 150 merchants. New partners are being invited to join the program and provide more reward exchange options to the users of qualified KFH cards.
Al-Arbeed emphasized that there are 3 different categories of cards in the Rewards Program. Each category determines the exclusive and special offers which the customer will get. Card categories include black cards and silver cards which entitle the holder to earn points through local and international stores and online shopping. Also, the holders may transfer KFH points to any other member in the program. As for the holders of green cards, they will be able to earn points through shops participating in Baitak Rewards program only. Total KFH points may be added within 24 hours after each purchase transaction which is qualified to earn points provided that the customer is not a participant in any other credit cards promotional program.
On the new partnership, Turkish airlines marketing director Arif Ali gezmisoglu stated: We are pleased to partner with Kuwait Finance House to broaden the audience of Turkish Airlines’ advantageous Miles&Smiles loyalty program by offering Miles and excellent rewards to the bank’s customers such as upgrading their travel class, extra baggage allowances any many more conveniences and privileges.
AlArbeed reiterated that the program followed several developments made on KFH credit cards including shape, services and advantages which are aimed to encourage customers to use cards and benefit from the available advantages mainly security and easy use. The banking cards have become a global language and a safe method for financial transacting especially during travel.
He said that KFH provided the most modern payment methods for customers locally and globally including digital wallet, smart watches, and mobiles in collaboration with the largest global applications: Samsung Pay, Fitbit and Garmin including Visa and Mastercard. These cards are compatible with NFC technology, smart phones, iPad working on Android and IOS systems. KFH also launched several campaigns to enhance the use of credit cards and give customers a unique banking experience and several chances to win valuable prizes including a Land Rover (Defender). KFH had previously launched “Ready for Summer” campaign and another campaign for the use of digital wallets, smart watches, and mobiles by its customers through Samsung Pay, Fitbit and Garmin.
