Kuwait Finance House (KFH) has launched “Digital Print” service ending all paper-based transactions in its retail banking. The new service is a step forward and part of KFH’s efforts towards digitalization, improving customers experience, enhancing operational efficiency, and minimizing the time span of its banking transactions.
KFH Group Chief Retail & Private Banking Officer, Khaled Alshamlan said that KFH is the first bank to launch “Digital Print” service at branches targeting retail customers. He added that the service is an advanced step towards e-banking and minimizing the number of printed documents at branches and converting them into a digital copy. Upon customer’s request, a secured digital copy will be sent to the customer’s e-mail following the completion of the banking transactions at the branch.
Alshamlan mentioned that the service has been launched on experimental basis in two branches. The service achieved major success and acceptance of both customers and employees. A digital copy of the banking transaction will be sent to the customer’s e-mail in a secure and swift manner using a PIN to ensure security and confidentiality.
Alshamlan indicated that this new service is being applied to all KFH branches so that all customers could benefit from the advantages of this service including speed, security, and privacy. In terms of KFH, the service aims to achieve operational efficiency, cope with modern technology and achieve utmost benefit from technological infrastructure available at the bank, in addition to KFH efforts to maintain healthy environment.
Alshamlan reiterated KFH tendency towards the digitalization of all transactions, services, products and methods of application to all parties dealing with KFH, e.g., retail customers, corporate or related parties. The aim is to make all transactions digital. Digitalization should be the new functional method of employees and customers, thus aiming to keep KFH always in the lead as a banking services provider and cope with global developments in the field of banking services.
Alshamlan said that a group of new technical services have been launched during 2022, e.g., a secured account opening service for non-KFH customers through XTM machines, Prepaid Card in 5 foreign currencies, corporate cards, supplementary cards, KFH Pay, Apple Pay and other services which have been introduced based on studies and follow up of customer needs and the development of service systems. He indicated that efforts, plans and studies will continue to provide more services and products soon.
