Considering the continuing efforts towards the training of employees and the development of their capabilities and its keenness to attract and qualify national creative and talented youth, Kuwait Finance House (KFH) has launched intake 8 of “Forsah” program which includes Kuwaiti topper graduates in several universities.
“Forsah” program comprises condensed training programs and workshops aiming to refurbish trainees’ skills in various bank activities, view financial products and services as well as management and planning methods in cooperation with highly distinguished instructors as part of KFH strategy to train and qualify national labor.
KFH Group Chief Human Resources Officer, Zeyad Al-Omar reiterated the bank’s concern about the development its employees’ capabilities and skills, namely youth, place such skills and capabilities at the service of the bank and its customers and enhance their expertise through a comprehensive vision, taking into consideration the good skills and remarkable educational performance of the trainees. This would provide an opportunity to build young leaders who can continue KFH pioneering position and act with high professionalism that is compatible with the advanced banking world.
He added that “Forsah” program has achieved remarkable success since its launch in 2009 and gained significant reputation inside and outside Kuwait. The program has become a remarkable training model. He expressed his trust in the trainees’ ability to make the best out of the program which represents a good opportunity for the participants to gain great knowledge and diversified expertise.
He indicated that the developments which the banking industry is witnessing and the increase in customers’ needs considering the spread of digitalization and technology, have induced KFH to attract youth talents, enhance their expertise and develop their capabilities to reflect positively on providing the best services and products and alleviate the bank’s performance.
Al-Omar affirmed that KFH endeavor in this respect shall add high value to the customer’s experiment, thus facilitating procedures and providing fast, secure and high-quality digitalization services.
Al-Omar reiterated the significance of the specialized training programs (Forsah) as they are compatible with the bank’s strategy which aims to render KFH as the customers’ first choice and enhance its pioneering role in the innovative sharia compliant financial services. He indicated that the competitive environment in the banking sector is a basic motive to alleviate performance and adopt the change and innovation culture.
He added that considering its leading position as a global Islamic financial institution, KFH is keen on attracting distinguished graduates to join “Forsah” program and enhance employees’ capabilities, indicating KFH team comprises a highly qualified and talented national experts.
In this context, Al-Omar emphasized that this stage requires highly talented and innovative minds to continue development and reach new advanced levels of distinction in offering services and facilitating procedures that would finally give the customer a magnificent experience and enhance his satisfaction.
“Forsah” Program
The “Forsah” programs, launched periodically by KFH, include advanced training courses that employ diversified educational methods. Previous intakes of the program comprised delegation journeys to Silicon Valley, field workshop and visits to tech giants e.g., Microsoft, Google, Apple, and other IT giants. Also, it includes visits to the largest and most advanced US universities in the field of digitalization e.g., Berkley University in California, field visits to the innovation center in Silicon Valley and several other global and reputable FinTech organizations, and field visits to KFH- Turkey, a leading bank in digitization, to view KFH-Turkey’s services, innovation, and research center as part of a team comprising hundreds of engineers.
It is worth mentioning that KFH has launched last month intake 7 of “Forsah” program which the bank has designed to attract Kuwait toping graduates in IT from local and foreign universities. The program included condensed and comprehensive training programs related to the most advanced IT applications in the banking field. The program contributes to the development of the trainees’ self-abilities to employ them at the service of KFH and its customers.
