Kuwait Finance House (KFH) participated in the reception of pilgrims arriving in Kuwait from the Holy Land of Mecca in Saudi Arabia. This initiative comes as part of the bank’s social responsibility and efforts to participate in all social, religious and national events that are of interest to the society.

Hundreds of pilgrims arrived in Kuwait. KFH team was present at the new Terminal T4 at Kuwait International Airport to receive the pilgrims with flowers and gifts, which had a good impact on the pilgrims who expressed their thanks and appreciation for this good gesture from KFH.

It is worth noting that upon pilgrims’ departure to Mecca to perform Hajj rituals, media Office at Ministry of Health along with KFH provided the pilgrims with helpful instructions in the holy places. A booth of the Media Office at the airport was accessible to pilgrims to offer some medical checkups in addition to some instructions and leaflets that help the pilgrims in their journey.

The initiative, launched by the Ministry of Health and with KFH’S annual participation was under the title "Towards a Safe Pilgrimage". It was held throughout the hajj until the return of the pilgrims.

 Media Office at Ministry of Health distributed awareness booklets, some preventive instruments and comprehensive examinations of pilgrims, with special attention to provide the elderly with instructions on how to save medications while travelling. Additionally, instructions were given on how to adhere to medical and nutritional regimes prescribed by the doctor, and to identify the initial symptoms of health complications, as well as the proper way to deal with injuries. Healthy nutrition during hajj was also explained along with the health guidelines for preventing heat exhaustion and sunstroke.

KFH plays a major role in the health field, collaborating with health authorities and participating in various health, social, and awareness initiatives. In addition to participating in activities that are directly linked to social and sustainable development in its overall meaning. Thus, emphasizes KFH's leadership in social responsibility.
