"KFH" launched Summer Club Programs for Customers
Al-Ruwaieh: Continuing Efforts in Serving Community and Maintaining Leadership in Social Responsibility
Kuwait Finance House (KFH) has concluded summer club programs designed for the two customer segments; “Hesabi" for youth and "Baiti" for kids. The program included various scientific and practical activities and recreational competitions, as well as lectures, workshops and field visits.
Executive Manager Group Public Relations and Media at KFH, Yousef Abdullah Al-Ruwaieh said that the summer club programs that were launched by KFH included more than 100 customers from “Hesabi” and “Baiti” segments, indicating that the program was both successful and achieved the desired goals.
Al-Ruwaieh pointed out that the summer club programs were characterized by diversity and comprehensiveness to cover the basic banking aspects, behavioral and scientific workshops, recreational competitions, painting, handicraft works and other skills that enhance and develop the talents of youth and children.
Strategic Partnerships
Al-Ruwaieh added in a press release, that KFH has signed strategic partnerships and memorandums of cooperation with several entities. This aims at organizing integrated summer programs that meet the aspirations of the community. He mentioned that KFH signed a strategic partnership with "Sadu House", which is concerned with the preservation of the Gulf cultural heritage and art Handicrafts, specifically the art of weaving.
Summer Programs for "Baiti" Customers
Al-Ruwaieh said that more than 50 “Baiti” customers participated in KFH summer program in collaboration with “Sadu House”, which contributed to the development and training of children in traditional handicrafts while learning about the heritage of unique textiles and the art of knitting.
He added, the program included visits to KFH branches as well to introduce children to banking basics and to promote their savings concept by introducing them to the benefits of "Baiti" account, which encourages children to invest and save.
Strategic Partnership with “Coded”
Al-Ruwaieh indicated that KFH has signed a strategic partnership with "Coded" summer program for children, which aims to teach the basics of programming and technology using robots.
He stated that signing the partnership with "Coded" comes within the framework and keenness to support scientific advancement and innovation initiatives. This contributes to the development of talent among children and establishes a generation with scientific expertise that will be able to keep abreast of the latest technological developments.
He continued: “The program included many sections such as scientific exhibitions and software experiments while providing advanced tools and requirements for technological innovations.” He emphasized that this contributes to instilling the concept of science appreciation in the minds of students and opens wider horizons for innovation and creativity, by facilitating the process of sharing knowledge and developing critical, creative and meditative thinking skills.
Al-Ruwaieh mentioned that KFH organizes regular visits to “Coded” program at the Abdullah Al-Salem Cultural Center to follow the performance of the participants and take part in various activities and events, including honoring ceremony.
Summer Programs for "Hesabi" Customers
Al-Ruwaieh said that the summer program launched by KFH for “Hesabi” customers was eventful. He explained that the program encompassed theoretical and practical banking programs through field visits to KFH branches and introducing them to Islamic banking business model and the major services and products provided by KFH, highlighting the role of Islamic banking in the economy.
The program included an intensive course in Islamic finance and its instruments, where the course witnessed a positive interaction from participants who praised the course’s content and distinguished topics.
He said that KFH organized a first aid course to “Hesabi” customers within the summer program, in cooperation with Al Salam International Hospital, in addition to a practical course revolving around problem solving skills. The program also included a field trip to the scientific center.
KFH also organized a seminar on the advantages of “Hesabi” program for youth, with a glimpse of the most important rewards, discounts and continuous offers organized by KFH to meet customer needs.
Al-Ruwaieh said that the program also included field visits to KFH Auto, the largest and most recent showroom in the Middle East. The program included field visits to the Call Center as well, to learn about the responsibilities of the employees and their role in serving customers 24/7. The program included 36 customers.
Al-Ruwaieh stressed the keenness of KFH to design social activities to meet the needs of each customer segment, pointing out that KFH received great praise from the participants in recognition of the summer programs efficiency and for meeting the trainees’ needs.
He said that KFH has organized many activities, events and presentations for its customers in conjunction with summer programs, stressing the continuation of efforts in the service of the community and maintaining the leadership in achieving social responsibility.
