Kuwait Finance House (KFH) announced the launch of new types of gold bullion ranging from 10 to 100 grams. The new Types are available in the branches as well as KFH online, with the aim of expanding the scope of service and convenience to customers.  This is considered a significant development to the gold account that was launched by KFH for the first time in Kuwait 5 years ago, and is currently available to customers in the banking branches.

Executive Manager - Liabilities and Investment Products at KFH, Nehal Al-Mosalem said in a press release, that the new offerings of gold bullion ranging from 10, 20, 50 and 100 grams comes within the plan of expansion in the product in response to the increasing customer demand, making it available to various segments accordingly. The weights of gold presented are great for gifting during social events and family visits, gatherings and other enjoyable moments. These gold biscuits are beautiful gifts, of great value and leave unforgettable memory.

Focused on catering to the needs of its customer, KFH offers the gold account to enhance its innovation with these products and services in compliance with Shariah principles. This will give customers a distinctive opportunity to invest and fulfill their future aspirations, creating multiple alternatives of investment tools with limited risks. Gold is considered a stable form of value and a distinct investment source, combining investment and savings simultaneously.

Al-Mosalem indicated that customers can open the gold account, and there as, buy, sell and retain gold bullion in an easy and safe manner for the purposes of saving or investment through KFH branches. The account has many advantages, of which are the ease of owning gold in the purest grades (999.9 purity), the flexibility in retaining gold with the customer or the bank, free storage of gold bullion. It is worth noting that the bank’s gold bullions are exported and approved with KFH security label and stamped by the Ministry of Commerce and Industry.  

Casing being done according to the best security specifications, the bank offers competitive prices and flexibility in purchasing, where customers can invest starting from the weight of 10 grams only.

The gold account is a unique investment account that KFH solely launched at the market level and has continued since 2013. It allows customers to buy and sell exported and certified gold bullions from the bank in an easy and safe manner. Gold bullions provided by KFH are 24 caliber 999.9 purity, which is considered the purest type available in the market.

The account is available to customers who are 21 years old, the charitable trusts customers and charity waqf accounts. Customers can withdraw all or part of the gold purchased or deposited in their account as a safe deposit with the bank whenever they please.
