KFH Sponsors GCC’s Unified Traffic Week 2017

Kuwait Finance House (KFH) announced its sponsorship of the Gulf Cooperation Council GCC’s Unified Traffic Week 2017 in collaboration with the Ministry of Interior’s General Department of Traffic. This comes in line with KFH endeavors and keenness to support the official authorities’ efforts while participating in the society-oriented activities as part of its corporate social responsibility and pioneering role in serving the society.
A delegation from KFH officials visited the Ministry of Interior and reiterated the support of KFH to the Ministry’s efforts in all fields, yet emphasized the important role KFH assumes towards the society.
KFH participates in sponsoring the activities of the GCC’s Unified Traffic Week for the 8th consecutive year. The event that takes place from 12-17 March is aimed at increasing the awareness and achieving safety and security for the residents and citizens of the GCC countries as safety and security traffic is important factor in achieving development and prosperity in any country.
KFH has firm belief in the importance of synergy and concerted efforts of both private and public sectors for the sake of urging drivers and pedestrians to adhere to traffic rules and respect the law, which highlights the country’s civilized face. Moreover, the bank hails the efforts of the Ministry of Interior, underscoring the key role of policemen in minimizing traffic congestions and achieving the highest levels of traffic security.
The GCC traffic week is filled with activities that encompass workshops, seminars, distributing leaflets and awareness brochures for road users in collaboration and coordination with ministries and official bodies.
