KFH Committed to Supporting Kuwait Red Crescent Society
Al-Nahedh: KFH Keen to Beef up Activities of Charitable Organizations
“Kuwait Finance House (KFH) has been assuming the social responsibility since its inception as a leading Islamic financial institution. This emanates from its firm belief in developing businesses and projects targeting the interest of society and reflects the efforts in inking strategic partnership with the official bodies to support the significant charitable activities in the society”, said Chief Executive Officer at Kuwait Finance House (KFH) Mazin Saad Al Nahedh.
He added on the sidelines of the visit of the Kuwait Red Crescent Society KRCS delegation to KFH chaired by the Chairman Dr. Hilal Al Sayer, that KFH spares no efforts in supporting the charitable organizations mainly the Red Crescent Society and the Kuwait Association for the Care of Children in Hospital KACCH. KFH strategy seeks to improve the level of services and maintains the pioneering position of the bank in the Islamic finance industry, yet it emphasizes the commitment towards supporting the official bodies, institutions, ministries and public welfare societies in their projects and activities that benefit the society. This is in line with KFH adherence to sharia provisions and keenness to optimally assume the social responsibility.
Meanwhile, Al Sayer praised KFH contributions in supporting the charity work. He applauded the keenness in supporting the Kuwait Red Crescent Society and the Kuwait Association for the Care of Children in Hospital KACCH, indicating KFH has a long track record of humanitarian achievements that made KFH a model example of the private sector. Also, this incarnates the country’s priority as per the directives of His Highness the Amir of Kuwait Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah.
He added that the KRCS organizes several campaigns and humanitarian programs such as aiding people in the war-torn countries, and supporting the widows and orphans in the displacement camps. The KRCS shoulders the responsibility of sponsoring several humanitarian projects inside and outside Kuwait, which reflects the bright image of Kuwait and its people.
It is worth noting that KACCH aims to reduce the stresses of hospitalization on children and their families by providing a supportive child-friendly environment with appropriate play opportunities to facilitate optimal growth and development and to prepare children and their families for their medical procedures by using play to help them understand their experiences in hospital.
