Waleed Mandani Appointed KFH Group Chief Retail and Private Banking Officer
Instrumental Role of National Staff in Driving Success
Kuwait Finance House (KFH) announced the appointment of Waleed Khaled Mandani as Group Chief Retail and Private Banking Officer. This confirms the keenness of the bank to pave the way for national staff to hold senior leadership positions and drive the success for the bank.
With 24 years of extensive experience working in different financial institutions, Mandani is well versed in the banking and financial services. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from the University of Arizona in 1992.
Mandani served as CEO of Wealth Management at BNP Paribas in Kuwait and represented the bank at Kuwait Banking Association during the period from 2005 until 2014. He also worked as a Senior Manager for Private Banking & Institutions at Al-Ahli United Bank (Kuwait) from 2001 until 2005 and Head of Corporate & International Capital Markets at National Investments Co. from 1998 until 2001. He started his professional career as a Treasury Corporate Officer (Dealing Room) at the National Bank of Kuwait from 1993 until 1997.
He completed an executive management program from Harvard University specialized in strategy along with an executive management program from Cornel University in 2011. He also completed the Executive Project Management & Leadership Program from Cornel University in New York.
He attended an Investment Analysis & Portfolio Management Euro Outlook for 2000 course held by Solomon Smith Barney Asset Management, a Risk Matrix program organized by J.P. Morgan and the "Derivative Fundamentals and Equity Valuation" by UBS in London. Furthermore, Mandani completed several specialized courses in the fields of Marketing, Finance and Treasury products.
