The Manager of the Media Department at the Ministry of Interior Colonel Mohammed Al-Sabr praised the role played by Kuwait Finance House (KFH) to reinforce security through supporting security authorities in various events.
In a press statement on the occasion of adopting the media campaign regarding the change of emergency number from “777” to “112” by KFH, Al-Sabr asserted that the role played by institutions to serve the society has a profound effect, especially in cases related to security, health, and education, in addition to taking interest in youths. He added that the continuation of work in institutions, despite the financial crunch, proves that a high number of economic sectors managed to remain stable, and to cement their financial status. He went on to say that changing the emergency numbers comes as part of the national digital plan, since there is a global inclination to make the emergency number “122”. He explained that the campaign focused on informing all people in Kuwait that the emergency number has become “112”, and on raising the awareness of the public regarding the importance of this service. Al-Sabr asked all to cooperate with the employees working on “112”, in order to provide a better service.
It is to be noted that KFH honored in December several activities regarding the honoring of the distinguished policemen in the Traffic Department and the patrol cars in Kuwait City Governorate, in addition to honoring the efforts of the employees working at the Al-Shuhadaa fire station in Al-Nozha.
