Kuwait Finance House (KFH) will offer free airline tickets for Kuwaiti students studying in Bahrain through KFH’s booth in the Avenues Mall for three days starting from this Monday. This is considered to be the first time a financial institution directly supports Kuwaiti students studying abroad in this fashion.
KFH Marketing and Public Relations Department Manager Fahad Al-Mukhaizeem stated in a press release that this initiative comes in conjunction with Bahrain Air, which shows KFH’s eagerness to fulfill its social responsibility in serving various segments of society to relieve some of the financial stresses and to encourage students seeking a higher education, since they play a major role in the development process of the country. A team from KFH will be available to receive the students who are required to provide a copy of their Civil ID, university ID, and their latest transcripts.
He went on to add that although there is a large number of tickets available for distribution, however, the priority will be on a first come first served basis. The KFH team will be available at the Avenues Mall from April 20th – April 22nd daily from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm, and from 4:00 pm to 9:00pm. This offer is to assist the Kuwaiti students who are studying in Bahrain to cover the costs of their travel and studies.
Moreover, Al-Mukhaizeem applauded the contributions of the Bahraini government for their continued support of Kuwaitis studying there, and thanked Bahrain Air for their cooperation in that offer, which proves that the relationship between the people of the two countries is strong. He also noted that other offers are in the pipeline and will be available for the students studying abroad in the near future.
