Kuwait Finance House launched a new service that would enable citizens and expatriates to purchase cars, receive them directly in Lebanon and settle their installments in Kuwait as soon as the transaction is successfully completed. This step comes as a continuation of success which this services has achieved in 6 Arab and foreign courtiers during the preceding years. Mr. Fawaz Al-Othman, AGM – Commercial Sector, said that this service comes as a continuation of the credit sale service in Kuwait and delivery abroad. Kuwaitis living in Lebanon and the Lebanese community in Kuwait are able to purchase cars, complete the transaction procedures with KFH and receive the cars in Lebanon, while installments are settled in Kuwait. He indicated that the transaction completion requirements do not differ from the car purchase procedures in Kuwait. KFH shall provide the new service in cooperation with Global Carnaval Company. Mr. Al-Othman added that his service shall reinforce the project launched by KFH under the name (Al-Ataa) aiming to provide a unique service to customers and enable them to settle payments in Kuwait and receive the car in 6 Arab and foreign countries i.e. Egypt – which was the starting point of the project in 1988 – UAE, Syria, Lebanon, United States of America and Germany. He confirmed that the service fulfills the needs of various types of customers and saves them a lot of time and effort. The buyer of the car may receive the car with full customs clearance or he may complete these procedures himself. He expected that the Kuwaiti students living in Lebanon, tourists, and investors may benefit from this service. He added that this service is considered as an advantage for the Lebanese community who will be able to settle their installments in Kuwait and receive the cars instantly in their country. He confirmed that the service represents KFH keenness to expand its services to its customers in various fields. This service shall enable customers to receive their cars, guarantee their quality and settle installments as per the Sharia compliant credit facilities provided by KFH. Mr. Al-Othman indicated plans are in place to contract with other countries to provide this service in the near future. These services represent KFH keenness to follow up and fulfill customers’ needs everywhere. It also signifies KFH concern about the economic and cultural variations, which have unified the world as a one market place. It also confirms KFH ability to use its international presence for the best interest of its customers and in the best and easiest ways. Regarding the standards for selecting the country in which the service can be provided, Al-Othman said that the country selection comes based on a study which covers a number of Kuwaitis living therein as well as the members of that country’s community in Kuwait and the KFH affiliates or authorized countries which contracts could be conducted to achieve safe and guaranteed delivery to customers.
